Eileen Wheeler Death – With with grief and gratitude, we announce the passing of Sister Eileen Wheeler, co-founder of the Servants with Jesus, who spent almost forty years stationed at the Coach House. At the age of 95, Sister Eileen passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. We are humbled by the incredible legacy of faith, prayer, and witness for Jesus that she has left behind, even as we celebrate her ascent to heaven. Without her, the House of Prayer East Sussex would not exist. We would like to share a poem that our extremely gifted Custodian Carole wrote in reaction to hearing of Sister Eileen’s passing: Eileen, my beloved sibling We are grateful for your presence, your unshakable faith, your steadfast trust, and the gifts you gave; you have blessed us all, my love.
As a result, you go to higher altitudes and encounter Him directly. That Lover who captured your impressionable heart and planted the seed for this space’s development. a location where you can reside as evidence of His love. The well-stacked odds fell apart as doors exploded open. Your righteous ambition and faith allowed you to build a House of Hope, cut bureaucracy, and help others cope. You gave everything you had, and when the time came for you to go, He didn’t let you stay anyplace; instead, he provided a friend who was perceptive. Yes, I did recognize what a wonderful gift you had been to the home of the Lord.
You had a bed, food, and affection when he came and took you home with him. When you needed it, there was supportive companionship to ease your final days, as well as concern and help with your health. It has been advised that the current, improved report is the best one to retain. When that Father came and took you home, you instantly dozed off.
