Mary Geikie Death – At the age of 68, Mary Olive Geikie died softly and painlessly at Percy’s Place on November 22, 2023. When she passed away, her loved ones were by her side. Both her father, Harold Geikie, and mother, Helen (Shaddick) Geikie, had died before their daughter was born. Miramichi was her birthplace. No matter where she went, her contagious smile made everyone around her happy.
Her brothers Gary Geikie (Sharon) of Miramichi and Junior Geikie (Pat) of Kingston, ON, and Joseph Parisi of New York; granddaughters Miranda, Olive, and Enriqueta; great granddaughter Isla; and several nieces and nephews will all miss her dearly. Her sons Jody Coakley (Hui-Wen) of Quarryville, Lucas, Chris, Joey, Ralph, and Daniel Bungay, as well as her daughter Joy Coakley of Montreal, will also miss her much.
