Simon Diefenbaugh Death – On July 29, 2023, at 10:03 a.m., Simon Lee Diefenbaugh, 28, of rural North Manchester, Indiana, went to be with the Lord. He was born to Lee and Julie (Border) Diefenbaugh in Warsaw, Indiana, on May 11, 1995.
After completing his studies at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, Simon obtained a degree in Accounting and Finance. He also graduated from Manchester High School. He worked as an accountant at Cornerstone Financial Solutions in Goshen, Indiana. Simon belonged to the Christ-centered Bachelor Creek Church. He cherished his family and numerous friends, and he enjoyed being among people.
His grandparents, Zada Border of Bourbon, Indiana; uncles and aunts, Kort and Sue Sell of Huntington, Indiana; Jay and Emily Diefenbaugh of Cashton, Wisconsin; Brent and Lorie Cooper of Tippecanoe, Indiana; sister, Sydney (Tyler Lynch) Diefenbaugh of North Manchester; brother, Cedric Diefenbaugh of Indianapolis, Indiana; and numerous cousins and extended family will all cherish his memory. His grandparents, Fred and Mary Lou Diefenbaugh, as well as Robert Border, passed away before him.
Tyler Leland will preside over the funeral services on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, 2147 N. State Road 15, Wabash. Burial will take place in Servia’s Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral ceremony, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023, and the church one hour before the ceremony on Friday.
Bachelor Creek Children’s Ministry Program is the preferred memorial.
