Mikeal Brock Death – The news of the demise of our beloved former employee, Mikeal “Mike” Brock, has left the Hoosier Energy family in deep grief. Our community was deeply touched by his four decades of unrelenting dedication and support to Hoosier Energy and our member cooperatives. Throughout his time with Hoosier Energy, Mike had a number of pivotal positions that demonstrated his adaptability, knowledge, and commitment. Mike’s vital contributions, which shaped the basis of our operations, ranged from his early days as a Substation Mechanic to his significant duties as an Auxiliary Operator, Equipment Tester, and New Hire Stores & Transmission Assistant.
Every assignment he took on demonstrated his enthusiasm for his career, and his commitment went beyond the positions he played to include the relationships he built. In addition to being a coworker, Mike was a friend, a mentor, and a source of encouragement for everyone he had the honor of working with. Our thoughts and sincere sympathy are with the Brock Family during these difficult times. We grieve with them during this trying time and share in their loss. I hope the memories they treasure and the lasting influence Mike had on the Hoosier Energy family bring them comfort.
Even though Mike may not be with us anymore, Hoosier Energy will always be bound by his commitment, knowledge, and friendship. His work ethic, dedication, and kindness will serve as an inspiration to us all in our pursuits. Let us continue Mikeal “Mike” Brock’s legacy of devotion and friendship as we consider his life and the significant influence he had on our group.
